Do any others enjoy Hibiscus Tea? I got hooked on it while working on assignment in Phoenix. I picked up a big bag of the dried red flowers and steep it into a delicious tea. I almost prefer it iced as I later read that native Americans drank it as a natural coolent on hot days. I prefer no added sugar, but have made a few pitchers sweetened for lunch guests and it's always a hit. It's naturally dry, fruity, a bit tannic and very refreshing.
Now that I am running low, I will have to see if I can source more from a local Mexican Mercado, not an easy find in Northwestern wisconsin.
